During the 2nd Symposium on Turbomachinery Test Facilities we would like to give industry and academic members the opportunity to introduce, present and discuss scientific results, current issues as well as challenges and innovative ideas concerning test facilities, test rigs and measurement techniques on the subject of turbomachines. The symposium takes place in May the 20th + 21st 2019 at the RUB Convention Centre.

Regular oral presentation of approximately 20 minutes are planned with additional 5-10 minutes for questions and discussion.

Key themes include the following areas:

• Concept, design and construction as well as (re-) built of turbomachinery test facilities
• Challenges for modern test rigs
• Process control systems, controlling, setting and monitoring of operation points
• Telemetry and rotating systems
• Solutions for sophisticated measurements
• Boundaries of actual measurement techniques
• Combination of experimental and numerical research

The attendance fee amounts to 150,00€ + VAT. Catering during the symposium as well as the buffet dinner on the first day are included.
